Brent Gallaher is a Cincinnati based saxophonist. He is a graduate of Cincinnati—College Conservatory of Music and currently works part time at the CCM as an adjunct professor of saxophone. He also teaches full time as a private instructor.
As a performer, Brent works with a wide variety of ensembles and artists and is just at home on the stage at Music Hall as in a corner of a local club. He has had extended tours with some of the finest names in big bands, the Glenn Miller Orchestra led by Larry O’Brien and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra led by Buddy Morrow. He has also performed with a wide variety of national and local artists, ranging from Tony Bennett, Frank Foster, and Delfeayo Marsalis to Cal Collins, the Blue Wisp Big Band, the Cincinnati Pops and Over the Rhine. Brent also regularly performs with his own groups, and has released two CDs, Vanessa’s Song and Lightwave.
