Saxophonist Jeremy Long regularly performs with leading artists and orchestras in jazz, classical, and popular music. Long has toured internationally with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, performing in many of the famed concert halls across Japan including Suntory Hall, and was a featured soloist with multiple Grammy and Oscar winning film composer A. R. Rahman’s world-touring ensemble, with which he performed for audiences of 40,000.
He has also performed in concert with Ray Charles, Pittsburgh Symphony and Pops Orchestras, John Adams, Cincinnati Pops, Michael Feinstein, Cincinnati Opera and Chamber Orchestra, Chaka Khan, New York Voices, the Temptations, and the Manhattan Transfer.
Dr. Long is Assistant Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies at Miami University (Ohio), a Performing Artist for Rico Reeds, and his debut solo CD was released on Innova Recordings in 2012.
